Lasombra, um, what did you picture as the location for this? mansion, hotel? doe she have an apartment now like Wolverine apparently does?? just was about to start the background and want to know if i should make it X-Mansionish or like a hotel or what... if it's the Mansion i think ol' Chuck will have a few problems with Bobby and Warren's entrance

Oh man, NOCTURNE that is awesome! Youre obviously a whiz with color. (I'm tempted to do some doodles if there's a battle scene at some point!)

I also like the direction the story is going. An eventual encounter/confrontation between a mutant who's powers are sort of shadow/darkforce based and a new mutant who controls shadow? WUNERBARR!

hopefully it is just due to Christmas that this is slow, but... if someone does not post something by the end of the day, *I* will, some (hopefully) witty banter on the Blackbird. that is a *threat* people, serioulsy i am a horrid writer, especially when it comes to dialogue. i am good with ideas, and structure, and i make a pretty decent editor, but i am bad with execution. but this is shaping up to be a cool idea, and i am having fun drawing it, i wanna see it finsihed!

and BAMF, thank you very much, and yes, you are quite free to do your own pages if you wish but we have to get more written first so far there is only about 2 pages worth... i have 2 pages thumbnailed, you want me to scan in em to see people? maybe it will provide inspiration or something, tho i warn you they are *quite* rough right now...

NO! Anything but that! Oh, the humanity! Just joking. Ow! *Ducks from rocks thrown in her direction* No fair! On another note, I'd love to see them, Nocturne. Don't worry about rough. Even my final drafts on my sketches look rough. Then again, I tend to have no patience for that sort of things, so that could be my problem.

Anyway, to continue:

Nightcrawler glanced down at the coordiants on his monitor, then up again through the cockpit window. He glanced over at ArcAngel, who was pacing around in the ship. "Thinking of leaving us?" Kurt asked good naturedly.
"The thought never crossed my mind," Warren replied.
"It would have died of loneliness on the trip," Bobby joked. Everyone laughed then as Bobby ducked when Warren's wing flipped back to hit him.
Chamber shook his head. "You guys are incorrigable."
"You can encourage us all you want," Kurt replied with a backwards glance.
Stacy X shook her head, her reptilian eyes narrowing to slits. "How do you intend to find this mutant?"
"Cerebro," Kurt answered.
"Cerebro?"
"A mutant finding device. It locks onto a mutant's brainwave patterns. That's how we found X-Ranch."
Stacy glanced away quickly. "Handy tool to have around, huh?"
"Very," Chamber said. "When mutants first manifest, they are often scared and hostile. It warns us of their powers, and also helps us get there first."
"Looks like we're getting close," Bobby observed as he glanced over Kurt's shoulder to the readouts. "Hum. Looks like we're headed for Madrid, people."
"Spain's nice," Kurt replied.
"Then here we go."

ha-ha no offense taken tho, i know i suck. you write, i draw, leave it at that. but i do hope others jump on the bandwagon soon... i will hook up the scanner (only 2 USB ports, 3 USB devices, the scanner is disconnected unless needed...) and get to scanning, but i will thumnail this one out first.

and sure, i would love to see it, either post it or mail it to [email protected] but i have just discovered i cannot *send* e-mail until i get back to Ontario so do not expect a reply. so far i havent worked out any details for her, i just have a girl with long black hair....
